For Houston Rockets guard Jeremy Lin, the past year has been a ride that, perhaps, can best be described as, most appropriately, ‘Linsane’. On January 27th, the ‘Linsanity’ documentary will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, one of the most known and prestigious festivals for independent filmmakers to showcase their projects. Director Evan Jackson Leong began this project before Lin burst onto the national spotlight last year in New York, and will focus this project as, “an insightful study of the way we perceive race in America and shows what is possible if someone believes in himself.”
The Sundance Film Festival will be held in Park City, Utah this year, and will showcase 11 other documentaries as well. Actor Daniel Dae Kim, most known for his roles in Lost and Hawaii Five-O, serves as the narrator in the documentary.
