Back in August, word came out that CBS’s award winning 60 Minutes program will air a feature on Jeremy Lin. The interview will now air on the April 7th show at 7:00 PM EST, 6:00 PM CST on CBS.
Charlie Rose conducts the interview that will mainly touch the topic of racial obstacles that not only Lin had to overcome in his playing career, but also in the context of society. In this preview, Rose simply asks the question of how a high school basketball player who was named California’s player of the year, not receive one Division I basketball scholarship:
This feature will come at a great time for Jeremy, as a couple of months ago, his documentary, Linsanity, which had its share fair of focusing on racial obstacles, was released at the Sundance Film Festival.
