Despite playing with a sore foot, James Harden didn’t seem to feel any pain, as he led the Houston Rockets with 36 points and 9 rebounds en route to a 109-106 win over the New York Knicks.
With the Knicks making a comeback in the 4th quarter to pull within 6 points, Harden calmly drained a 3-pointer to put the Rockets up 102-93 with under 4 minutes remaining.
Chandler Parsons added 22 points, while rediscovering his 3-point stroke as he shot 40 percent(2 of 5). Parsons also added a highlight reel dunk as he drove the lane to give the Rockets a 12 point lead in the 2nd quarter.
In his return to Madison Square Garden, Jeremy Lin came off the bench to score 21 points, and drew a variety of oohs and aahs from the crowd throughout the night. He came to life in the 4th quarter, scoring 9 of his 21 points.
