Drummond finished with 16 points and 17 assists, while Monroe added 10 points and 14 rebounds. Rodney Stuckey led the Pistons in scoring with 23 points off the bench.

The Rockets got out to a blazing start, leading 41-20 after the 1st quarter while shooting 71 percent from the field. But the Pistons would eventually cut the lead to single digits in the 4th quarter, before Beverley drained 2 big 3-pointers to put away any comeback attempt.
