Houston Rockets 129 Minnesota Timberwolves 106-Recap

All areas clicked for the Houston Rockets as they recorded a season high 36 assists and hit 16 3-pointers in a 129-106 blowout win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Rockets looked dead out of the water in the first 16 minutes of the game, starting the game with 8 turnovers to find themselves down 41-31. James Harden would then hit two consecutive 3′s that would spark a 17-0 run, and the Rockets wouldn’t trail for the rest of the game.

Harden finished with 28 points in all, while adding 8 assists and hit 6 of 10 3-pointers. He was one of seven Rockets to score in double-digits as Chandler Parsons broke out of a recent slump with 19 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists.

Omer Asik started in place of Dwight Howard and added 12 points and 5 rebounds. Patrick Beverley scored 14 points, Terrence Jones added 10 points and 7 rebounds, while Jeremy Lin scored 11 points and dished out 10 assists off the bench.

But the player of the night goes to Donatas Motiejunas, who put in a career high 20 points and 9 of 11 shooting.

Fuck adelman. Look at the minutes distribution. 6 for shabazz and a combined 46 for shved/budinger/hummel? This idiot should not be a coach in the nba. Gorgui and shabazz should have been right off the bench in the beginning of the season but he’s gotta play veterans even though they’re worse. And Hummel? Really? This 2nd round pile of dog shit is supposed to be a 3 point specialist but he can’t shoot anything. K-mart and pekovic need to be traded so we can get some real talent that stays healthy. We also need to release J.J. Because that moron is crying and pouting on the bench when he gets benched in the fourth quarter. He makes 4 times what he’s worth and is a ball stopper that shoots around 40%. This team needs an overhaul. Everybody but love, Rubio, shabazz, and dieng. This is pathetic.
