NBA Free Agency has been active for 29 days and the Houston Rockets still haven’t addressed the Donatas Motiejunas contract.

Day 29 of NBA Free Agency is as you expect… slow! Most teams have either completed their rosters, have one spot remaining or have extended partial contracts to prospects for training camp.

As noted above the Houston Rockets have one contract which is precariously unaddressed in that of Donatas Motiejunas. Several teams are in the mix, but with the Rockets holding his bird rights they’ll be able to match any offer extended.  The question is with the signing of Ryan Anderson along with Michael Beasley and Montrezl Harrell on staff how far the Rockets will be willing to extend.

As per the other 29 teams only one was in action on Day 29 of NBA Free Agency:

The Golden State Warriors are seeking a rim protector with the loss of Andrew Bogut and Festus Ezeli. They’ve added Zaza Pachulia, but want additional help. To that end, the Warriors have invited JaVale McGee to their training camp under a ‘make good’ 15 day contract. In essence that allows the Warriors to check out how McGee fits their system and gives them the rights to sign him in camp if he fulfills their needs.

As NBA Free Agency nears a month fewer moves will occur and the majority of activity will be finalizing rookie deals, adding prospects to training camp rosters and maybe, just maybe the Rockets will finally make a decision on Motiejunas.

Though the list grows shorter, especially of top talent, the following is a list of some free agent the Rockets will be mulling over:
