It looks as though the players and owners are pulling out their big guns for the next meeting. By “big guns,” I, of course, mean Derek Fisher, Billy Hunter (the union’s executive director), and David Stern.
Since July 1, it seems like nothing has happened besides a lot of complaining. The owners have complained about the players making too much money. The players have complained about the owners complaining about the players making too much money. Childish, I know. But this is how professional athletes and owners settle labor disputes.
