The Houton Rockets have made another deal trading center Samuel Dalembert and the 14th pick to the Milwaukee Bucks for the 12th pick, Shaun Livingston, Jon Brockman and Jon Leuer.
Dalembert had a down year last season with Houston. He averaged 7.5 points, 7 rebounds and 1.7 blocks which are all below his career averages. He fills a hole the Bucks have had since they dealt Andrew Bogut to the Golden State Warriors for Monta Ellis. Good luck to Dalembert and the Bucks.
The Rockets plan on keeping Livingston, Brockman and Leuer, even though they could save $4.7M if they waived Livingston and Leuer. Basically, This move was done to move up in the draft to go after Dwight Howard or possibly Pau Gasol if Howard doesn’t work out. Or to maybe move up in the draft to take Andre Drummond. A lot of rumors have been coming out the last few days, and with Daryl Morey running the show you never know what’s going to happen.
The Rockets now have the 12th, 16th and 18th overall picks, and they’re far from done. It looks more and more like everyone is up for grabs.
