Michael Jordan and current NBA players to raise money for President Obama


President Obama is joining forces with the NBA to help raise money for his re-election campaign. It will be a fundraising “shoot-around” in New York on August 22nd. Later that day they will also have a  $20,000-per person fundraising dinner.

The greatest player to ever play basketball, Michael Jordan, will be co-hosting the event with NBA Commissioner David Stern. Current NBA players such as Carmelo Anthony, Rajon Rondo, John Wall and many others will also be participating.

Obama’s campaign plans to raffle off the chance for supporters to attend the events.

Most American’s know that President Obama is a big fan of basketball and the NBA. The feeling is mutual as most NBA players, and even the Commissioner are Obama supporters.
