The Houston Rockets will face off against the Charlotte Bobcats for the second time in two weeks. In their last meeting the Rockets pulled out a nail biter 100-94.

The last time these two teams faced off Houston’s point guard play was completely annihilated by  Kemba Walker and Ramon Sessions, who combined for 54 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Jeremy Lin and Patrick Beverley combined for just 14 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds.  If the Rockets want to get an easy win against a bad team they will need Lin to step it up. Luckily he’s been having a great week heading into this game.

Also in the these two teams last meeting James Harden struggled from the field shooting just 5-20, but still finished with 29 points due getting to the line 21 times while making 19. Harden has since gotten out of his funk and should easily drop 30 points on a team that has no answer for him defensively.

Bismack Biyombo made his presence felt in the last meeting defensively by getting 7 blocks. He doesn’t do much offensively so I would like to see Omer Asik and Greg Smith attack him on the offensive end. Both players have bigger bodies than Biyombo and they will need to use it if they don’t want to get stuffed at the rim.

Houston’s bench outscored the Bobcats bench 47-30. In order for this to be an easy Rockets win they will need to do this once again. Marcus Morris and Carlos Delfino will need to knock down shots consistently.

In the last meeting it was a very close game. I expect the Rockets to come out gunning from the jump and never look back.
