NBA All-Star weekend will be filled with great, talented superstars in Houston, but not just on the basketball court.  Just off her national anthem performance at the Super Bowl, Alicia Keys will now also perform at halftime of the NBA All-Star game on Sunday, February 17th.  She’s just one of several other superstar musicians who will be performing that weekend.

John Legend is slated to sign the national anthem for the All-Star game, while singer Gloria Reuben, most known for her role in the movie Lincoln, will sing the Canadian national anthem.  Ne-Yo is also scheduled to perform during the All-Star player introductions.

For the first time ever on NBA All-Star Saturday Night, the cast and crew of the NBA on TNT will not host the event.  Instead, Nick Cannon is set to host the evening’s festivities, which will include performances by Phillip Phillips, Ellie Goulding, and Fall Out Boy.

So far, the Houston Rockets have 2 players who will participate in All-Star Weekend.  Chandler Parsons will be in the Rising Stars Challenge, while James Harden is the Rocket’s lone all-star representative.  The rest of the contestants will be named in the coming weeks.
