ESPN has announced that they will televise 2 Houston Rockets games for the final weeks of the regular season. ESPN will pick up the Rocket’s April 5th game at the Portland Trail Blazers (9:30 PM CST), and the regular season finale on April 17th at the Los Angeles Lakers (9:30 PM CST).
Houston currently is holding on to the 7th seed in the West by a safe 2½ games over the Utah Jazz, and is only 1 game behind the Golden State Warriors for the 6th seed. Both games will have tremendous playoff indications, as the Blazers, who are looking for a late playoff push, is 5½ games behind Utah, and the Lakers are in the 9th spot, just a ½ game behind the Jazz.
