Houston Rockets: Tim Ohlbrecht Sent Down to D-League

The Houston Rockets have sent reserve center Tim Ohlbrecht down to D-League affiliate Rio Grande Valley.  Ohlbrecht started the season with Rio Grande Valley, and was named a D-League All-Star before being signed by the Rockets on February 25th.

Ohlbrecht, 24, made his NBA debut on March 3rd against the Dallas Mavericks and has appeared in three games this season for the Rockets.

A 6’11 center originally from Germany, Ohlbrecht was a two time all-star in the German League before coming over to the states this season.

In 32 games with Rio Grande Valley this season, Ohlbrecht has averaged 13.4 points and 7.4 rebounds.
