Houston Rockets: Tim Ohlbrecht Sent Down to D-League

The Houston Rockets have sent reserve center Tim Ohlbrecht down to D-League affiliate Rio Grande Valley.  Ohlbrecht started the season with Rio Grande Valley, and was named a D-League All-Star before being signed by the Rockets on February 25^th.

Ohlbrecht, 24, made his NBA debut on March 3^rd against the Dallas Mavericks and has appeared in three games this season for the Rockets.

A 6’11 center originally from Germany, Ohlbrecht was a two time all-star in the German League before coming over to the states this season.

In 32 games with Rio Grande Valley this season, Ohlbrecht has averaged 13.4 points and 7.4 rebounds.
