With Adrian Wojnarowski tweeting that the Lakers have fully resisted Clippers overtures on a sign-and-trade for Dwight Howard, it hopefully puts an end the madness of Blake Griffin playing for the Los Angeles Lakers. Let’s all tone it back a notch and return to the Houston is the favorite destination for Dwight Howard.

Most of the city of Houston is salivating at the possibility of acquiring Dwight Howard from the Los Angeles Lakers. (Notice I said most, not all) The rumors run wild, and July 21st, is the real beginning of the madness.

Meanwhile Howard is busy doing what comes natural to a person living in Los Angeles, acting. This time Howard is showing off his voice-over acting. He stars in “Free Birds” as a turkey named Cold Turkey. Great character name.

Just add Cold Turkey at the line:

  • Dwight Howard left the Los Angeles Lakers __________, deciding to join the Houston Rockets

I’ll save that for a futre post.

Free Birds is an animated tale about time traveling turkeys who go back to end the genocide put upon turkeys during Thanksgiving. The movie stars the voices of Owen Wilson, Amy Poehler, and Keith David who has the creepy voice from everything.

This isn’t the first time Howard has done voice-acting. He also appeared on “Kick Buttowski”, fighting crime and what not.
