Dwight Howard has recently been going to interviews during his free agency period. Reports have stated that they have gone well and he may eventually sign with anyone, despite why hypotheses lead to.
Also according to the Houston Chronicle, Another more noteworthy report from Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey is that big pocket Houston Rockets members, Jeremy Lin and Omer Asik are not on the trading block and that Dwight Howard looks forward to working with them.
However, recall that this is the same Dwight Howard who did not get along with NBA pick-and-roll legend Steve Nash and claims that Houston does not have a third super star, despite having the 30+ point Chandler Parsons, a play making Jeremy Lin and center of similar stats Omer Asik. Heck, even the Orlando Magic’s Jameer Nelson was a decent point guard for Dwight Howard to work with.
Jeremy Lin did not make any significant changes to his stats up or down besides minutes going from around 26 to 32 per game. Despite a lack of a leap and athleticism, Omer Asik has been a consistent defender and rebounder, constantly making it into the top 5.
