Two weeks ago when Dwight Howard’s decision to sign with the Houston Rockets became public, many critics took turns taking shots at the new Rockets center.  One of them included former Laker Shaquille O’Neal, who was asked what his thoughts were during a press conference with actors Kevin James and Adam Sandler for the release of the movie Grown Ups 2 at Daytona National Speedway.

Shaq subtly took some cheap shots at Howard, stating that his decision was a “safe move for him to go to a little town like Houston”.

While most people didn’t take Shaq’s comments too seriously (Houston is the 4th largest city in America), one young fan felt the need to fire back at the future Hall-of-Famer.

During Saturday’s Rockets fan rally, the young fan screamed into television camera:

“Dwight Howard is the best center in the league. Shaq! Shaq! I want to say one thing to you Shaq! Don’t ever disrespect Houston like that again! Don’t ever disrespect Houston! H-Town baby!”

So is this just an act of retaliation? Or should Shaq take this as a stern warning? The Rockets have proved in the past that they don’t play with him like that. Enter Charles Barkley:
