Houston Rockets: How far will the Rockets go this season? (Poll)

With the NBA preseason only two months away, the anticipation for the upcoming Houston Rockets season is growing immensely. New additions to the #newage have the Rockets set for what could be the best season since the 94′-95′ season. The additions of Omri Casspi, Reggie Williams, Marcus Camby, Isaiah Canaan, Robert Covington, B.J. Young, and of course Dwight Howard greatly impact a roster that took the Oklahoma City Thunder to six games in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. Houston has the ability to start Dwight Howard, Omer Asik, Chandler Parsons, James Harden, and Jeremy Lin. “On paper” there are few teams in the NBA that can match that starting group, and still have the bench behind them.
Many blogs, critics, and pundits, have already begun to make predictions, analyze and dissect the chances for the Rockets. When the 2013 season ended, the Houston Rockets were given 20/1 betting odds to win the 2014 NBA Finals. One free agent signing, however, has made them one of the favorites to win next year’s championship. After landing Dwight Howard, Houston’s odds have improved to 9/1, putting them behind only the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference. The Miami Heat are 2/1 odds to return as champions.
So with all that being said, I leave it up to you Rockets fans to predict the outcome of the 2013-2014 season. Vote in the poll below:
