Houston Rockets: Pre-season Schedule Dates

While the release of the Houston Rockets regular season schedule was exciting for fans all across, there are still chances to catch the Rockets play before the season opens on Oct. 30.
The Rockets kick off their pre-season on Oct. 5 against the New Orleans Pelicans, and immediately travel to Manila, Philippines for a date with the Indiana Pacers on Oct. 10. The scheduled tip-off time will be 6:30 AM CST.
3 days later, the Rockets will face the Pacers again, this time in Taipei, Taiwan, before returning to the states to play 4 more games. 2 match-ups at home against the Dallas Mavericks and Orlando Magic will be followed by 2 away games against the San Antonio Spurs and Memphis Grizzlies to round out the pre-season.
The 2 NBA Global games in Asia against the Pacers are slated to be televised on NBATV.
The Grizzlies game is set for Oct. 25, and would give Houston 5 days off before the start of the regular season, a match-up against the Charlotte Bobcats at Toyota Center.
