While Houston Rockets guard Jeremy Lin has been away from the spotlight for the most part this summer, he’s never been shy in front of the cameras. His newest short video, entitled ‘You’ve Changed Bro’ proves no different.
The 5 minute video is a parody of how much Lin has “changed” since he rose to the scene and features his brother Josh, some of his hometown friends, Los Angeles Lakers guard Steve Nash, and teammates James Harden, Patrick Beverley, and Terrence Jones.
Some Lin’s “changes” portrayed in the video are him sleeping in a bed while crashing at his brother’s place instead of a couch(he was known for sleeping on then teammate Landry Field’s couch during his time in New York), not practicing ‘Rock Band’ before playing with his friends, ditching someone he grew up with to work out with Nash instead of him, and using his left hand, in which Harden promptly says, “You never use your left hand!”
It’s always great to see someone be able to make fun of themselves, which is the case here. Lin has been the recipient of some harsh criticism this off-season, and brushing that off with humor is a very effective way. Now, he just needs to carry that confidence into the season as the Rockets will be expecting better consistency from him.
