3.  Paul George

2012-2013 Statistics:  17.8 points, 7.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists

Paul George is a player not many expected to develop and dominate like he showed he could do last season and in the playoffs.  The 23-year-old guard not only showed up in the Eastern Conference Finals, but also helped the Indiana Pacers take the Miami Heat to 7 games and scaring “Heat Nation”.  As the Pacers were eliminated from championship contention in Game 7, their season wasn’t at all as disappointing as an Eastern Conference Finals exit would seem.  You still have George, not to mention the acquisition of  former New York Knick Chris Copeland, and the acquisition of Luis Scola via trade from the Phoenix Suns.  Oh and if you may have forgotten, former All-Star Danny Granger sat out all of last season with a knee injury.  The future with Paul George and the Indiana Pacers is a bright one and look for him to shine in the NBA for years to come.
