Houston Rockets: Jeremy Lin’s Early Birthday In Taiwan; James Harden’s Upcoming Birthday

Houston Rockets guard Jeremy Lin being presented with a birthday cake in Taiwan
Houston Rockets guard Jeremy Lin received an early birthday present during his final days in Taiwan. While his 25th birthday is on August 23, Lin is scheduled to leave for mainland China Thursday.
Gatorade threw an early birthday party for Lin, who is of Taiwanese descent, in an effort to show appreciation and hospitality for all that he did during his 8 days, which included giving a testimony, spending time with fans along with his teammates Chandler Parsons and Dwight Howard, and co-hosting a basketball camp with Parsons himself.
Parsons, who had never been to Taiwan before, spent time interacting with the local fans and trying local Taiwanese delights, such as the mango shaved ice tea.
James Harden is also set to celebrate his 24th birthday on Monday. In all likelihood, Harden’s celebration will be completely different from that of Lin’s as he spent his 23rd birthday living it up at a strip club in New York a year ago. Don’t expect anything to be different, as Harden has been enjoying his off-season to the fullest so far.

Harden recently hosted a 2-day basketball camp in the Houston area for youngsters from 1st grade to 12th grade.
The Rockets will travel to Taiwan as a team in October to play a pre-season game against the Indiana Pacers.
