2. Marc Gasol

2012-2013 per-game statistics: 14.1 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.7 blocks, 19.6 PER

Marc Gasol is the only other center in the league who has a legitimate case to be no. 1 on this list. He accumulated over 600 rebounds, 300 assists, and 100 blocks last season for the Memphis Grizzlies. Only Kevin Durant and Josh Smith finished with those totals. Gasol is the most versatile big man in the league these days with his solid mid range game, excellent low post game, and an 85 percent tally from the free throw line, while averaging 14 points, 4 assists, and 1.5 blocks a game. The only other player ever to have those numbers and shoot over 84 percent from the free throw line is Michael Jordan. This is all to go along with the Defensive Player of the Year award he won last season. Gasol led the Grizzlies to a Western Conference Finals appearance and should, with good production, have them contending for a Western Conference title again.
