There are many under the radar players that can make a big impact in the 2013-2014 season. Players who haven’t made a huge name for themselves in the 2012-2013 season have the potential to break-out this upcoming season. With the NBA season gradually working its way in, here is the Top 5 under the radar players that can make an impact:
Honorable Mentions: Kawhi Leonard, Andre Drummond, Enes Kanter, Javale McGee, Jonas Valanciunas, Iman Shumphert
Eric Bledsoe introduced as a Phoenix Sun after being acquired from the Clippers.
5. Eric Bledsoe
2012-13 stats: 8.5 ppg, 3.1 apg, 3.0 rpg, 17.6 PER
Eric Bledsoe made a name for himself towards the middle and end of the season last year for the Los Angeles Clippers. With Chris Paul being down, Bledsoe stepped in and made a huge impact. Bledsoe played excellent and showed the qualities to be a starter in this league. When Paul came back, Bledsoe was the sixth man and provided valuable minutes off the bench.
Bledsoe has excellent speed and athletic ability to get to the rim and finish. The University of Kentucky stand-out improved on his shooting last year and looks to keep improving his game. Able to play the shooting guard or the point guard position, Bledsoe’s ceiling is high and we will see more from the 6’1” guard now with the Phoenix Suns. The Suns hope to have found the guard of the future.
