Jimmy Butler is a defensive beast. He wants to go up against the best guy on the other team and also has much potential in his game. Tom Thibodeau’s defensive minded coaching scheme is a perfect fit for Butler.

During the 2013 NBA playoffs, Butler stepped up his game, averaging 13.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.7 assists, showing the NBA that he can be has the makings of becoming a star in this league. The Chicago Bulls need Butler to have a big impact this season playing either the shooting guard or the small forward position.

Luol Deng is on the trade block now that Butler has emerged as a solid NBA starter. Expect to see similar type numbers from Butler that he put up in the playoffs for the upcoming season.
