San Antonio beat the crap out of Houston last year, and pretty much every year since Hakeem Olajuwon turned David Robinson into a ballerina. Last year James Harden set a career high in points and the Rockets scraped by with their only win against the Spurs. This season will be no different, if (once again) Dwight Howard doesn’t change the Spurs ability to carve up the Rockets on offense. Tony Parker had his first triple-double of his career against the Rockets, and primarily when guarded by Jeremy Lin. The Rockets ability to better defend the Spurs will be a microcosm of how well they will play defense throughout the season.
