Anybody remember Linsanity? Yeah, I thought so. The New York Knicks took offense when Jeremy Lin signed the 3-year/$25 million-dollar poison-pill offer sheet from the Houston Rockets as a restricted free agent, making it extremely difficult for Knicks owner James Dolan and company to match. Carmelo Anthony called the contract “ridiculous”.  ESPN loudmouth Stephen A. Smith proclaimed Lin was big enough for the bright lights of Broadway.

In his return to Madison Square Garden, Lin was met with cheers and jeers, but Jeremy was impressive to the tune of 22 points and 8 assists and a Rockets victory that ended the Knicks 10-game winning streak. After winning both games against the Knicks last year, the Rockets will return to MSG on November 14th and that game will be televised nationally on TNT.
