Space City Weekly: Episode 5

This week on Space City Weekly, we break down the Houston Rockets shooting guard position. Of course James Harden will get his All-Star on, but what do we expect from Ronnie Brewer, Fransisco Garcia, and B.J. Young. Personally, I’m ecstatic for the addition of Ronnie Brewer. The Rockets need big guards, and guards that play defense well. Here’s hoping Brewer becomes a defensive go-to throughout the season.

We recap the FIBA tournaments and the play of Rockets players, Omri Casspi, Omer Asik, Fransisco Garcia, and Donatas Motiejunas. This past week Rockets GM Daryl Morey went on ESPN 97.5 and talked about the Rockets upgrading the locker room and the showers, adding a “wiener wall”. 

On off the court news, we debate the level of sanity of Dennis Rodman, and how he is close to losing is U.S. citizenship with all those trips to North Korea. Also the Brooklyn Nets retiring the jersey of Jason Kidd, and the Miami Heat bringing back Michael Beasley.
