Nothing makes for a better Hollywood drama then the current situation the Lakers are in: Lost Howard, to the Rockets, Metta is a New York Knick, and the face of the franchise is coming back from an achilles injury. I have absolutely no doubt that Kobe Bryant will be back from the injury and just as deadly. The one thing you have to understand about Kobe, is that he feeds off of doubt. The Lakers added Nick Young to help with scoring while Kobe is away, but beyond that the Lakers are not the potent force we have come to know them as. This may be the season the Lakers take part in the Lottery ;and how awkward would that be?

Houston faces the Lakers right out the gate during the upcoming season and will look to prove their supremacy. Of course, all eyes will be on Dwight Howard to prove to Lakers fans what they lost, but more importantly proving that he is the best center in the league. Hurry back Kobe, because it’s no fun beating the Lakers without Mamba on the floor.
