Houston was the place that Marcus Camby wanted to finish his long career in. He was filled with enthusiasm as the Rockets signed him in July to mark his 2nd stint with the team. That stint is scheduled to end on Monday as the Rockets plan to waive Camby, according to the Houston Chronicle’s Jonathan Feigen.
Rockets will waive center Marcus Camby on Monday, source said. Camby has been unable to come back so far from torn plantar fascia tissue.

Camby suffered the injury before training camp started, and has been unable to practice throughout the pre-season. With the likelihood of undergoing surgery, Camby’s future with the Rockets may still be possible if his foot can eventually heal this season.
