The Houston Rockets got off to a good start Wednesday night as they came away with a 96-83 win over the Charlotte Bobcats. Take a look at some of the highlights:

Omer Asik grabbed 14 rebounds, and helped contain Bobcats center Al Jefferson to just 13 points and 8 rebounds. On this play, he blocks a turnaround hook from Jefferson, and tips in a Chandler Parsons miss on the other end.

Jeremy Lin provided a spark off the bench with 16 points, but distributed the ball very well as he usually does. In the third quarter, he was able to penetrate to lane and dish off a nice pass for Howard.

Lin also shot 2 of 3 from behind the 3-point line.

Parsons struggled in the early moments of the game, but managed to finish with 10 points. Here’s 2 of them as he drives the lane on a fast break.

And finally, the play of the night. With the Rockets up by 8 in the 4th quarter, James Harden threw a lob to Howard from near the Rockets logo at halfcourt. Superman climbed up the ladder and soared through Toyota Center to put the finishing touches on the Bobcats.
