I’m sure by now the general public has seen the commercial of Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard dribbling a basketball, only to be stopped by 2 animated birds. If you haven’t, then check it out here:
The commercial is for the upcoming animated movie Free Birds, starring the voices of Owen Wilson, Woody Harrelson, and Amy Peohler. But the Rockets star center has a role in the film as well, providing the voice of the character, Cold Turkey. Friday is the release date for the film.
Howard is no stranger to the big screen, as he has appeared in films such as Just Wright, The Three Stooges, and several TV shows.
Free Birds did not receive much praise from it’s premiere showing, as 2 major movie rating websites, Rotten Tomatoes and IMDb, has rated it 4.4 out of 10, and 5.1 out of 10, respectively.
