Patrick Beverley found the touch from deep making 3-4 from deep finishing with 11 points, while Jeremy Lin tallied 16 points and 7 dimes.
The key players were Terrence Jones, and the emergence of Donatas Motiejunas who had played all of 9 minutes this season, nailed his first three of the season and finished with 12 points. D-Mo was clearly eager to play and did not waste any of his minutes, going as far to showcase his own euro-step on a fast break.
Terrence Jones had to match the hustling, and intensity of Nuggets Kenneth Faried and he did just that. Jones compiled 12 boards, and 14 points on 6-11 shooting.
The Nuggets struggled to cut lead, and for the first time this season the Rockets built a lead and maintained it throughout.
