What looked to be an impressive blowout win for the Houston Rockets Wednesday night, turned into another heartbreaking 4th quarter collapse, as the Dallas Mavericks turned an 18-point deficit in the 3rd quarter into a 123-120 win. The loss marked the 7th straight time that the Rockets have fallen at American Airlines Center; but aside from the game, fans voiced their opinions on blaming head coach Kevin McHale for the loss.

Wasn’t a big fan of hiring Kevin Mchale & still not a fan. Not a good coach in the 4th quarter. Doesn’t no how to close.

140 characters and 12 point mobile font just doesn’t quite justify how tired I am of Kevin McHale’s inability to make adjustments.

Kevin McHale has got to step up. I swear we blow a lead every game. Motivate the players man, come on.

#WTF #HoustonRockets sick of your crap #KevinMcHale #RedNation don’t even blame #Lin on this loss. Take your #HeroBall and go down with it!

Real talk: When is Houston going to fire Kevin Mchale?

Even with the loss, the Rockets are off to a 8-5 start, their best mark this early into the season since the 2006-2007 season. But for a majority of the Houston fan base, that just doesn’t cut it.

Many fans are already unhappy at this moment with how the Houston Texans’ season has gone after entering the season with huge expectations, going the extremes from cheering when quarterback Matt Shaub was injured on a play against the St. Louis Rams, and even burning a Shaub jersey in late September:

The question becomes: will these voices spark a hot seat for McHale’s future with the Rockets?
