The Houston Rockets took off in the 1st quarter and never stopped en route to a 113-84 blowout of the Atlanta Hawks on Thanksgiving Eve.

After another 30 point quarter the Rockets got off to an early lead, and continued to add to their streak of leading at home, dating back to the November 11th game against Toronto (in OT). That was 13 quarters ago.

Terrence Jones had the hot hand early, getting Hawks players off their feet with ball fakes, and connecting on both his first half threes, finishing with 14 points and 6 boards.

Jeremy Lin sustained a right knee bruise and left the game with about eight minutes left in the first quarter and did not return. The lost of Lin gave Aaron Brooks more court time and he excelled in Lin’s absence. Brooks dropped a game high (tied with Francisco Garcia) 21 points, connecting on 4 out 6 three pointers.
