The saga continues for unhappy Houston Rockets center Omer Asik. After ESPN’s Marc Stein reported last week that the Rockets will very likely trade Asik in the coming days, that rumor was pretty much solidified Tuesday afternoon when Asik officially fired his agent, Andy Miller, and hired Arn Tellem of Wasserman Media Group, who’s known as one of the more aggressive agents in the NBA.

Tellem represents players such as Derrick Rose, Joe Johnson, Brook Lopez, LaMarcus Aldridge, the Gasol brothers, and Donatas Motiejunas and Terrence Jones of the Rockets.

With the change, this signifies that Tellem will do his part in finding the best trade scenario for Asik, and will likely push general manager Daryl Morey into making a deal as soon as possible for Asik to return to the court.

Asik has been out with what is being listed as a thigh contusion, and it looks like he won’t step on the court with a Rockets uniform on anymore.
