The rumor mill swirled earlier in the week about a possible 3-team trade with the Boston Celtics jumping into the Omer Asik talk. The Rockets were targeting Celtics forward Jeff Green, but apparently, Boston has no interest in dealing him, according to Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated.
The deadline for Asik to be moved is Thursday, and all the possible deals at the moment that have been brought up are pure speculations. The Houston Chronicle’s Jonathan Feigen has also reported that the Rockets do not have a deal in place with any team. Of the many players who have been brought up that the Rockets have targeted: Anderson Varejao, Ryan Anderson, are all suitors for the Rockets, but it’s been their respective teams who desire no interest in parting ways with them.
