The Dallas Mavericks snapped a 3 game losing streak a t Toyota Center Monday night, coming away with a 111-104 win over the Houston Rockets. Dwight Howard continued his dominant play of late, finishing with 29 points and 15 rebounds, while Chandler Parsons added 21 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Jeremy Lin returned after missing 10 of the last 12 games, and scored 20 points.
Aaron Brooks also added 18 points and 5 assists off the bench, and threw this nice lob to Howard late in the 1st quarter.
The Mavericks would steal the game in the 2nd half, scoring 61 points, including a 15-1 run to start the 3rd quarter. Dirk Nowitzki passed Alex English for 13th place on the all-time scoring list, and scored 10 of his 31 points in the 4th quarter, while Monta Ellis added 18 points. Vince Carter scored 16 points off the bench and went through the time machine to pull off a reverse dunk in the 1st quarter.
