Houston Rockets: Dwight Howard, Jeremy Lin, James Harden Among Leaders In NBA All-Star 3rd Ballot Returns

The NBA released its 3rd NBA All-Star ballot returns Thursday afternoon with Dwight Howard, Jeremy Lin, and James Harden all among the top 5 spots at their respective positions for the western conference.
Howard is currently 2nd in the frontcourt behind Kevin Durant, and about 10,000 votes ahead of Blake Griffin. Meanwhile, Lin has received the 4th most votes in the backcourt, trailing Chris Paul by under 200,000 votes, while Harden follows Lin at number 5.

Voting closes on Monday, January 20, with the starters being announced on Thursday, January 23 during an episode of TNT’s Inside the NBA at 7:00 PM ET. Reserves will then be announced on Jan. 30.
The 63rd NBA All-Star game will be played in New Orleans and will be aired by TNT on Sunday, February 16.
