Keys for the Houston Rockets against the Atlanta Hawks Friday night.

Hometown Performance

Dwight Howard returns to his hometown of Atlanta, and the Rockets need him to have a big night. With starting center Al Horford out for the season, the Hawks are starting rookie Pero Antic, who has played fairly well. Establishing Howard in the low post is something the Rockets have gone away from in recent games, and coming off of a 20 point, 13 rebound performance against the Los Angeles Lakers Wednesday night, Superman will look to have his way.

Full Circle For Kyle Korver

Kyle Korver is in the middle of a remarkable NBA record: 105 consecutive games with at least one 3-pointer made. That streak began on Nov. 4, 2012, a game after Korver did not make a 3 against the Rockets in Phillips Arena. With Chandler Parsons questionable to play, Ronnie Brewer and Francisco Garcia may get the assignment of trying to run Korver off the 3-point line every chance they get.

Bearding

James Harden has been on an absolute tear the past 3 games, putting up 107 points totally. Harden also exploded in the Rockets’ lone trip to Atlanta last year, finishing with 45 points and 12 assists in a 109-102 win.
