Houston Rockets: Dwight Howard Loses Out On All-Star Starting Spot

The NBA announced the starters for the 2014 NBA All-Star game in New Orleans, and there will be no Houston Rocket on the Western Conference roster.

Dwight Howard, who was ranked 2nd in the Western frontcourt in the 3rd ballot returns with 509,116 votes, lost out on a starting spot to Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love, who was over 20,000 votes behind Howard at the time. James Harden also did not finish in the top 2 of the backcourt, with Stephen Curry and Kobe Bryant voted as the two starters.
