The Houston Rockets failed to get enough votes to get any of #rednation in the NBA All-Star Game as starters. On Thursday night the Inside the NBA team on TNT will announce the reserves.

Here are my choices as the seven reserves for the West.

Jan 29, 2014; Dallas, TX, USA; Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard (12) makes a free throw against the Dallas Mavericks during the second half at the American Airlines Center. Howard finishes 9 or 11 from the line. The Rockets defeated the Mavericks 117-115. Mandatory Credit: Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Dwight Howard (HOU) – 18.0ppg, 12.5rpg, 1.8bpg, 57.7 FG%

Howard deserve to be a starter, but just missed out by less then 50,000 votes. Howard has been having a resurgent season as he worked his way back in to shape following last years back surgery. Howard was a superb 9-11 from the free throw line against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, the first time he had made that many out of ten attempts since January of 2011.
