The night belonged to James Harden, as he went for 43 points, 8 assists, and shot 6 of 9 from behind the 3-point line and 15-16 from the free throw line in just 3 quarters of play in a 129-103 blowout win over the Sacramento Kings.

Harden started of on fire, outscoring the entire Kings team in the 1st quarter, 22-17, shot 7 for 10 from the field, and scored the final 19 points for the Rockets in the quarter. Dwight Howard added 20 points and 11 rebounds. Jordan Hamilton scored 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds off the bench in his Rockets debut, while Terrence Jones and Jeremy Lin both added 11 points.

The Kings got as close as 18 points by halftime after winning the 2nd quarter 34-27, but DeMarcus Cousins picked up his 5th foul early in the 3rd quarter, and was ejected shortly after from picking up 2 technical fouls. He would finish with 16 points and 6 rebounds in just 20 minutes, while Rudy Gay led the Kings with 25 points and 6 assists.

The Rockets scored 69 points in the first half, their 2nd largest total in a half for the season, and are now 18-3 when breaking the 60 point mark in the first half.
