The Houston Rockets continue to have their problems with the Los Angeles Clippers, as they fell 101-93, marking their 8th loss in the last 9 meetings. The Clippers pulled away in the 4th quarter from the play of Darren Collison, who scored 12 of his 19 points in the 4th quarter after stepping in to fill for Jamal Crawford, who left the game at halftime with an injury.

Dwight Howard led the way for the Rockets with 23 points and 11 rebounds, while James Harden scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Jordan Hamilton scored 16 points off the bench in his 2nd game as a Rocket, knocking down 4 of 8 from behind the 3-point line.

The Rockets were able to rebound from a horrendous start, in which they trailed 17-4 after the first 6 minutes of play. But 20 total turnovers that lead to 30 Clippers’ points, including 23 fast break points ultimately decided their fate.
