It took all 48 minutes for the Houston Rockets to earn their first win in 9 tries against the Miami Heat, but a last second stand by Dwight Howard and the rest of the defense sealed a 106-103 win.

With the Rockets up 106-100 with 21 seconds remaining, Michael Beasley drained a 3-pointer to cut the lead to 3, leading to a turnover by James Harden when he attempted a full court pass that sailed out of bounds. That led to an isolation by Lebron James against Howard with a chance to send the game to overtime, but a step-back 3-pointer at the buzzer went off the rim.
