Houston Rockets point guard Patrick Beverley suffered a broken nose Wednesday night late in the first half of a 101-89 Rockets win over the Orlando Magic. Beverley was scrambling for a loose ball when Tobias Harris inadvertently elbowed him in the face. He will be fitted to wear a mask and is not expected to miss any games.
“I’m all right,” Beverley said after the game. “Just have to get masked up tomorrow.”
Beverley struggled offensively in the win a night after scoring 19 points and making a career high 5 3-pointers against the Miami Heat. The Rockets are scheduled to host the Indiana Pacers Friday night.
