The Houston Rockets were able to avenge their worst loss of the season in December against the Indiana Pacers with a 112-86 blowout win. Leading 50-47 in the early moments of the 3rd quarter, the Rockets would erupt on a 33-6 run, led by 16 points from James Harden that would put the game out of reach.

Harden finished with 28 points for the game, and added 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Dwight Howard added 15 points and 7 rebounds, while Chandler Parsons added 11 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds. Jeremy Lin also busted out of his recent slump with 11 points on 4 of 5 shooting in 16 minutes.

David West led the Pacers with 15 points and 10 rebounds, and Paul George was held to just 13 points on 5 of 12 shooting. While the Pacers rank 1st in the NBA in points allowed in the paint, the Rockets controlled both the lane, 48-30 edge in points in the paint, and on the perimeter, shooting 46 percent(13 for 28) from behind the 3-point line.
