For the 2nd straight week, Houston Rockets guard James Harden has been named the Western Conference Player of the Week. Harden  averaged 30.3 points, 6.8 assists, and 5.3 rebounds from Mar. 3-9, and had 3 great performances against some of the NBA’s elite teams: 21 points and 11 assists in a win over the Miami Heat, 28 points in a win over the Indiana Pacers, and 41 points in a comeback win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

It is the 5th time in Harden’s career that he’s received the honor, and the first time in franchise history that a player wins Player of the Week in consecutive weeks.
