With the Rockets up 99-98, Beverley drained a 3-pointer to stretch the lead to 4, but Howard was called for a delay of game when he slapped the ball out of the net to the baseline referee.
That sparked the Heat’s 13-0 run that included 2 other technical free throws, and 7 straight missed shots on the Rockets’ end. Beverley hit a pair of free throws in the final seconds to put up the first points in the final 4:26 of the game. The Heat closed the game out on a 15-2 run.
