The Houston Rockets 124-86 romp of the Utah Jazz didn’t end as smoothly as they would have liked. With the final seconds ticking down and the ball in the hands of rookie Isaiah Canaan, former Rocket John Lucas III decided to steal the ball and take it the other way with under 10 seconds remaining.

Canaan didn’t expect the veteran to do such a thing as he was dribbling the clock out, but for Francisco Garcia, he wasn’t going to let it slide.

Garcia gave Lucas a slight shove as the buzzer sounded, and it escalated from there as Lucas threw his fists up wanting to box. Only problem was that he kept backing up and his punches were landing about 4 feet short of Garcia.

Lucas’s father, former Rocket John Lucas was in the stands.
