Space City Scoop Sets Sights On Fantasy Basketball Finals

After a grueling fantasy basketball season, the Space City Scoop squad is poised for a trip to the Finals. This is the first year that the Space City Scoop has participated in the Fansided – ESPN Fantasy Basketball league.
The SCS team consists of James Harden, Dwight Howard, Greg Monroe, Paul Pierce, Goran Dragic, Ersan Ilyasova, Brandon Jennings, Kris Middleton, Patrick Beverley, Taj Gibson, and Jose Calderon.
During the draft there was an effort to snag as many Houston Rockets players as possible. Drafting Harden first, and Howard second. At one time the squad also consisted of Jeremy Lin, and Chandler Parsons. This strategy resulted in SCS finishing near the bottom of free throw percentage, but second in scoring, assists, and three-pointers made. Space City Scoop finished with the second best record in the Fansided league (96-56). Only Soaring Down South had a better record at 114-38.
With a week nearly gone in the first round of the Playoffs, Space City Scoop is up 5-3 on the King James Gospel squad. A single matchup lasting two weeks feels like a lifetime, and the lost of Houston Rockets center, Dwight Howard doesn’t help.
We will keep everyone notified of the SCS progress in the Playoffs, which hopefully ends in our first Fansided fantasy basketball title.
